What is a Camera Gimbal? A gimbal is basically a battery-operated pivoted device that allows your digital camera to rotate smoothly along an axis. It is equipped with motors and sensors to stabilize your camera’s unintentional wobbles and help you to film fluid, smooth footage while you move your camera around one of the three-axis: pitch, roll, or yaw.  How does a camera gimbal work?      Backed by an algorithm and tiny gyroscope, the gimbal uses its motors to stabilize the video even if you pick any unwanted jolts or bumps in your footage. The 3-axis gimbals use IMUs (Inertial Measurement Units) that understand the command of the camera and gimbal operator to detect the movement and stabilize it, using the pan, tilt, and roll motors to balance the camera as you move through the scene. The best thing about using a gimbal is that the built-in computer of the gimbal can differentiate between the intentional and unintentional movement, thereby allowing you to make the panning sce
